Radstadt’s privileged uniform civil guard can look back with great pride on almost 700 years of tradition. Every year, to mark the anniversary of its establishment, the traditional town militia holds its own civil guard festival. The 3-day event is an annual ‘must’ for many locals, and is also very popular with guests in Radstadt. From Friday to Sunday top international ensembles and marching bands guarantee a great atmosphere. And don’t miss out on the old guard chicken – a real culinary treat.
