Dear loved-ones back home ...

... well, today my hubby decided to get in a round of golf at the course in Radstadt, while I am in the process of enjoying a good cup of coffee at the Bürgerberg Alm and soaking in the rays. Today's the day I can totally relax, since our son, Alex, is taking a mountain-bike tour out towards the Rossbrand and our daughter, Tina, is enjoying the refreshingly wet waters at Radstadt's Alpine Outdoor Pool -a vacation just the way I imagined it!

Yesterday evening, we got to know historic Radstadt during a walking tour led by a night watchman - it was truly romantic!  Tomorrow we have planned a mountain hike together, while on Sunday we want to go to the Radstadt Dumpling Fest. For next week, we are looking at visiting Hohenwerfen Castle, Liechtenstein Gorge and Salzburg City, especially as the SalzburgerLand Card gives us free admission to countless attractions throughout the SalzburgerLand. Oh yes, on Friday we're going to the Mandlberg Hof where they distill pine oil (we want to make sure we bring grandma and grandpa something back from our vacation)!  And we've already gone ahead and made our bookings at the hotel for next year, since we're certain to come back to Radstadt again!
